Introducing SiteSafe

Audience: Linux Hosting Customers.

INTRODUCING SITESAFE: CONTROL ACCESS RIGHTS & PROTECT YOUR WEB SITE

Internet Connection is proud to release a new utility for use by it's Linux hosting customers - SiteSafe. SiteSafe should be of particular interest to those using CGI and PHP applications that pose potential security problems.

WHAT DOES SITESAFE DO?

The SiteSafe utility protects your site by allowing you to lower the access rights of your account. The reduced privileges apply to all scripts and pages on your site, including scripts utilizing CGI and PHP pages. Once these reduced privileges are in place, the files that make up your site can neither be modified nor deleted. This can dramatically reduce the number of problems that may occur as a result of buggy CGI and PHP applications.

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY SITE?

SiteSafe allows you to resume normal access rights at any time with a security token that is granted when SiteSafe is enabled, thus giving you the ability to make legitimate changes to your web site and applications.

TRY SITESAFE TODAY

SiteSafe is now available for your use. Full documentation for this utility is available in the IC Support Area:
