Errors Using Pine and IMAP

Among the countless programs available for sending and receiving e-mail, there exists Pine. To use Pine for reading your IMAP folders, you will need to specify your inbox/default folder to be:

{DOMAIN-NAME/user=USER-NAME@DOMAIN-NAME}INBOX

Also, set your default folder collections to:

{localhost/user=USER-NAME@DOMAIN-NAME}#allfolders.INBOX.

Please note the extra dot at the end of the default folder collections.

You may note that Pine does not properly support IMAP capability, and thus it will never try CRAM-MD5 authentication. You can work-around this using SSH tunnels.
