Email Autoresponders

TechTarget.com describes an autoresponder as:

"...a computer program that automatically returns a prewritten message to anyone who submits e-mail to a particular Internet address, whether an individual or a Web site."

Configuring Autoresponders

Using your netConsole, your email accounts can configured to generate autoresponses with a few simple steps.

New Accounts

To configure your new POP or aliased/forwarded account to generate autoresponses simply provide the information for the account and check the "Autoresponse" box before creating the new account. Before the new account has been created you'll be taken to the autoresponse configuration page.

Existing Accounts

To configure your existing POP or aliased/forwarded account to generate autoresponses just click the "Autoresponse" checkbox. You'll then be taken to the autoresponse configuration page.

To configure your autoresponse messages simply replace the contents of the textarea with your own information and click the "Save Changes" button.

Please note that you have to replace the square brackets and the content within them for your autoresponder to work correctly.
