Server Load Monitor

The Server Load Monitor allows you, the administrator, an easy-to-read, graphical analysis of the activity on your server. The information it displays is refreshed every fifteen seconds.

Setting up the Server Load Monitor

Once installed, you can access the server monitor at this URL:

http://DOMAIN-NAME/cgi-bin/status

Rememeber to replace "DOMAIN-NAME" with your actual domain name.

  Using the Server Load Monitor

To best use the Server Load Monitor, one only needs to understand the terminology.

Seconds: The seconds column lists the times of the statistical information by the number of seconds before the last refresh. The information is listed in blocks by these as markers.

Requests: This figure is more or less the number of hits your server received in the given second block.

Kbytes: This is the total bandwidth, or Kbytes of data transferred to your users in the given second block.

  Things to Remember

You can bookmark the server monitor for your convenience.

Should the Server Load Monitor fail to work properly, we recommend that you delete and re-install it from the control panel.
