Creating a New FrontPage®-based Web
Microsoft®'s FrontPage® offers those that are new
to the web an easy and powerful website creation and administration tool.
Using a WYSIWYG interface, even those with no coding experience can create
a professional website for their business or personal use.
The first step is the actual creation of your FrontPage®-based web.
- Open your copy of Microsoft® FrontPage®.
- Go to the File menu and choose "New Web". You'll then see a screen like
the following:

At this point you'll want to choose a template and set the destination for
your web. You can create the web directly on the server but we recommend
you create it on your own hard drive first and then publish it when you're
done.
- The next screen you will see will look similar to the one below. This
is the FrontPage® editor and from here you will begin adding the images,
text and links that will comprise your site.

After you've completed your FrontPage®-based web, the next step is to
publish it. More information on this can be found here.
